Refund Policy
At Akan Bio, we value the commitment of our participants and patients. To ensure clarity and fairness, the following refund and cancellation policies apply:
1. Event Registrations
Refunds for event registrations (such as conferences, workshops, or training programs) will be processed as follows:
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the event date:
- Full refund minus a $20 bank processing fee.
- Cancellation 15–29 days before the event date:
- 50% refund of the registration fee.
- Cancellation less than 15 days before the event date:
- No refund will be issued.
- Substitutions:
- A registered participant may transfer their registration to another individual up to 2 days before the event date at no additional cost.
2. Stem Cell Treatments
Due to the significant preparation and scheduling required for medical procedures, refunds for treatment payments will be handled as follows:
- Cancellation at least 30 days before scheduled treatment:
- Full refund minus a $200 administrative fee.
- Cancellation 15–29 days before scheduled treatment:
- 50% refund of the treatment payment.
- Cancellation less than 15 days before scheduled treatment date:
- No refund will be issued.
- Rescheduling:
- Patients may request to reschedule their treatment date at no additional charge if notice is given at least 15 days in advance. Requests within 15 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3. General Notes
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@akanbio.com.
- Refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days of approval.
- Any applicable bank or transaction fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
